ROP Announcements
ROP Automotive General Services OPEN HOUSE
Join us this Friday during lunch at the Auto Shop garage (next to the baseball fields) for the ROP Automotive General Services Open House @ RHS. Students will be offering tours, vehicle maintenance and equipment demonstrations as well as Universal Technical Institute will have a STEM Performance Demonstration during the event. This class prepares students with troubleshooting and critical thinking skills as well as experience with new technology to solve day-to-day problems when it comes to vehicle maintenance and repair.
Careers in the automotive & transportation industry are on the rise and continue to be in demand, especially in our local area. Our students have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and skills as well as college credit through this program. Advanced Auto students also put their skills to use by offering vehicle inspections and general maintenance and repair services to staff at RHS. These skills are VALUABLE, especially if you have paid for brake jobs, oil changes or tire rotations at a local shop.
So, stop by and grab free cookies and cold water during lunch on Friday, December 9th and see the true value of CTE!
All teachers, staff and students are welcome, we hope to see you there!
